Overview
The Kundan Cab brand has stood for dependable wires and cables in India since 1968. It means copper built to Indian standards, sold under one name and one mark. Knowing the brand, and its correct spelling, is the first step to buying a wire you can trust for years.
A name on a reel of wire is a quiet promise. It says who made the wire, to what standard, and who will stand behind it once it disappears into a wall for the next thirty years. Few products ask for that much trust on so little information.
That is why the maker behind a wire matters as much as the wire itself. A trusted name is shorthand for copper that is what it claims to be, and a company that will answer for it.
What the Kundan Cab Brand Stands For
Behind the name is a maker that has served Indian homes and industry for more than five decades. As both a wire manufacturing company and a cable manufacturing company, it makes house wires, multi core cables and industrial cables under one roof. A name only lasts this long by being reliable, order after order.
Having worked as a Kundan Cab manufacturer since 1968, the company has a long record rather than a short story. So the name is not simply a label on a reel. It is a maker with decades behind it and a clear set of products to show for them.
Made to a Standard
What the company puts its name to is built to Indian standards such as IS 694:2010, in high purity copper. That is the plain reason the mark carries weight. A wire made to a public standard has been tested for the things that fail in a cheap one, so the name on the reel is a promise that can be checked.
One Name Across the Range
The Kundan Cab wires and cables sit in a few clear families. House wires cover everyday home circuits, from FR grade up to the low smoke FR-LSH and HR-FR-LSH-LF grades. Alongside them sit multi core cables for bundled runs and heavier industrial cables. The range even reaches submersible cables for pumps, so the kundan electrical cables side is as broad as the house wire side.
One name across so many products is part of the appeal, since a builder or an electrician can trust a whole job to a single maker rather than a patchwork. For the full list of sizes and grades, see the full Kundan Cab range.
Why a Trusted Name Matters
Choosing a known name is not about the label for its own sake. A trusted wire and cable brand built to Indian standards means the copper, the cover and the build are all what they claim, which is what keeps a home safe for years. A look-alike may save a little now and cost far more later.
The market has several similar sounding names, so the correct spelling is worth a second look. The official spelling is Kundan Cab, and names such as Kundan Cable are not the same maker.
